We were passing through town with very little time to spare, and they went out of their way to make time for us, given they were fully booked for 2 weeks for bike repairs and services. The outcome was a very happy 8 year old, who has new breaks on his old BMX, and the team at The Bike Shack gave the shonky old bike a nice little service and tune up. Really impressed with the friendly service and the outcome we needed. THANK YOU Bike Shack team! Our son is over the moon!

I went into the bike shack looking for a decent entry level bike to ride from a-b, get some exercise and occasionally possibly go off-road. I found them to be exceptionally helpful, not the slightest bit pushy and super easy going and friendly. I got the bike I wanted. I needed a few bits and pieces ie helmet, speedo, lights, lock and a few tools. Having spoken to them on the phone the previous day, they understood I wasn’t a pro and didn’t try to push any pro stuff my way or up sell me, they just pointed me in the direction of adequate enough equipment for my level and steered me cheaper rather than more sophisticated and subsequently more expensive. Now there is a shop that can identify individual needs, they actually care to know what exactly it is you are looking for and offer the best friendliest service I’ve experienced in retail, maybe ever. I couldn’t endorse them enough. If you need a bike or anything bike related, you’re in great hands at the bike shack!
